Using the Ad Server
To login to the PMG Ad Server, go to http://adserver.pmghawaii.com . You will login with your intranet credentials. * Only users with administrative privileges can use the Ad Server.

Areas of the Ad Server
Below is a list of the items under the “Menu” button (Top-Right Corner of Page). Click the item to learn more:
VIEW & EDIT
All Ads: This will display a list of all ads in the system.
Active Ads: This will display a list of all ads currently running, by website. Click the tabs below the header to switch between websites.
Ads By Company: This will display a list of all companies in the ad server. Click the company name to view all ads saved under that company name.
Recently Expired: This will display any ads that have expired in the last 30 days.
Weekly Account Schedule: This feature allows you to see what ads are running for what Account Holder.
MANAGE
Sites/Categories/Positions: Only use this feature when you need to add a new website, category or ad position to the ad server. You can also use these pages to find the Ad Server ID's associated with categories, ad positions or websites.
STATISTICS
Company Reports: This is where you will find the statistics for advertisements under a specific company/website.
Section Inventory: This feature is useful for finding out how many ads are scheduled for a specific section. It's recommended that you double-check section inventory before scheduling new ads to avoid over-scheduling of a section.
INTEGRATION
Website Codes: This page contains all the
HTML code needed to display ads on a website. Each code is specific to the Website > Category > Ad Position.
Adding a New Advertisement
UPLOADING CREATIVE
From the “Menu” button, click the red “New Advertisement” link.
Select the Company associated with the ad. If the company is not in the system, scroll to the bottom of the list, and click “+ New Company”. Enter the Company Name, and click “Add Company”
Enter a title for the ad. Keep it short, but descriptive. (i.e. 300×250 Kamaaiana Special) The title can only contain letters, numbers and spaces. Any special characters (including apostrophes) will automatically be removed from the Ad Title)
If the ad is a text ad, click the checkbox and enter the Ad Headline, Copy, and Call-to-Action button title, otherwise add the banner graphic.
Click “Add Advertisement”
SCHEDULING
Once your advertisement creative is uploaded, you will be taken to the Ad Scheduling screen.
Start by selecting the website to be scheduled on, select the website category, followed by ad position.
Select the Start Date and End Date for the ad. The ad will run through the end date, so if you select 06/26/2015, the ad will run on the 26th.
Enter an advertisement link (MAKE SURE THE LINK BEGINS WITH http: or https:)
If you would like another ad to display at the same time as this ad, select a “Synced Ad” from the dropdown.
Click “Add Schedule”
Modifying an Advertisement's Schedule
Find the ad you'd like to modify using one of the “VIEW & EDIT” options on the “Menu” button
Click the “Edit Ad Schedule” icon with the flag.
To stop an ad from running, click the white “Edit” link on the ad schedule block you'd like to change.
Change the End Date to the previous day, and the ad will no longer display.
You can also click the red “x” icon on the ad schedule block to remove it. It's recommended that you change the end date, rather than deleting the ad schedule block, so we can have a record of when the ad ran.
Modifying an Advertisement's Creative
Find the ad you'd like to modify using one of the “VIEW & EDIT” options on the “Menu” button
Click the “Edit Ad” icon with the pencil.
From here, you can change the ad graphic/text or company name.
Avoid changing the Ad Title or Company Name. These fields are linked to Google Analytics. Any change will result in the loss of all stats associated with the advertisement
